A time to plant...

Today was all about landscaping. My sister has a green thumb. She loves plants and has great ideas when it comes to landscaping. I gave her a budget and told her some of my thoughts and let her have at it. She brought everything we needed to get started. I would not have thought about all the soil additives and stuff she brought with her. Of course, she brought some great help with her, the kids, her husband and the dog, Anna.

Yardwork and landscaping is fun, as long as you don't have to do it! I enjoy it but don't like it forced on me.

Make sure you put up an "after" photo.

Can you send your sister over here? We've got lots of space for landscaping ideas.

Hey, I could use you guys at my place too! We have so much gardnening to do we can't keep up. The front and side yards are being neglected and the weeds are out of control.

Can't pay you though, but I can give you free vegetables! :)

By the way, the little black dog in the first picture looks a lot like a dog I had for 12 years. He's gone now and I miss him terribly. Is that a black, long-haired Dachshund?

Gayle, the dog in the first picture is a cocka-poo. Anna is a cocker spaniel poodle mix. The dog in the second picture is a pomeranian dachshund mix. Casey is our baby, well, kind of, he is about 13 years old.

That's awesome!! I'm garden-challenged so I have a friend who helps me too or I'd be lost.
