Dogs take each moment at a time and enjoy it; they don't hold grudges; they are everyone's best friend. Dogs savor the simple things in life--a walk in the neighborhood, a pat on the head, a quiet moment in nature. Humans should take a lesson from this and take the time to enjoy the simple things that make up our every day.

Family Fun
My sister and her family were visiting from So Cal this weekend. We celbrated sis's birthday, picked blackberries for breakfast, shopped, played games, had a picnic and just laid around. It was great! I sure wish she lived closer. (Hint, Hint!)
O of M, these are not far from us, but we have a lot on our lot, too. We willbe doing all we can to kill them though. They are so invasive and grow really fast around here.
Patrick, I have been working on them for almost 20 years now!

It's so good to see family! Blackberries -- mmmmmm! Are those berries on your property?
So Cal? Yes, she needs to move to Oregon.
