Dogs take each moment at a time and enjoy it; they don't hold grudges; they are everyone's best friend. Dogs savor the simple things in life--a walk in the neighborhood, a pat on the head, a quiet moment in nature. Humans should take a lesson from this and take the time to enjoy the simple things that make up our every day.

Wildlife
My sister visits me and suddenly my yard becomes a haven for new wildlife.
It's a sister thing that started a couple of years ago. I found some in a little shop in Julian, CA. They were so tacky that I had to buy some and put them in her yard when we were there for Christmas. Since then they have been to Oregon and back to So Cal. These are new ones because no one wants to give theirs up anymore...
There's a place in our town where you can rent dozens of them in one shot. You see them in people's yards for milestone birthdays, anniversaries and such.
HM, my niece is getting married in Brainerd in December. Maybe I should rent a bunch for that. Bright pink with the white snow, might be kinda perty. I am sure she would love it...
jgf, a few years back my mom and brother got together and covered our lawn with 40 of those pink suckers for my husband's birthday! The company came out at about 4am to set it up "under cover of darkness"!

My first thought: "Oh, nooooo! Not Pink Flamingos!" But it's a sister thing; I understand... I think! lol!
Do you dress them up with the seasons...a little Santa Hat at Christmas and Easter Bunny ears at Easter and maybe a pilgrim hat at Thanksgiving?
Maybe I should go out and find some of those cuties.
Ha! Busted...
