The Bad Day Golfing...

is better than a good day at work!

And yesterday was not a bad day golfing. It was actually some of the best golf I have played ever. Do keep that in perspective though. It was still really bad golf. The new clubs did help and I really like the 460 cc driver. For me, a good day is not doubling par on any hole. Thursday, I didn’t double par on any hole, but I didn’t get any pars either. However, I did birdie! So, if you were at Meriwether Golf Course on Thursday afternoon and saw a crazy person jumping for joy on the South course’s 8th green, it was me. I hit a 6 iron off the tee at 125 yards onto the green for a long birdie putt. I read the green right even though it looked like it wasn’t going to drop at first. The ball rolled around the hole to the back then slowly dropped off the lip and in the cup. So, it was a great day of golfing!

I really don't enjoy playing golf. But I love to drive that cart :) My oldest son, Josh, will join the high school golf team next year. His dad is the golf coach. I guess I will need to start learning some gold terminology

Let me tell you all I know about golf: nothing! LOL! But I'm glad you had a good day and as in anything, you'll get better with practice. :)
