Dogs take each moment at a time and enjoy it; they don't hold grudges; they are everyone's best friend. Dogs savor the simple things in life--a walk in the neighborhood, a pat on the head, a quiet moment in nature. Humans should take a lesson from this and take the time to enjoy the simple things that make up our every day.

There are still some people who get involved when they see injustice.
Bystanders Tackle Man Who Grabbed Child
PORTLAND, Ore. - Bystanders tackled a man who swiped a toddler from a stroller Sunday in downtown Portland, Portland police officials said.
Very encouraging. Sometimes I get discouraged seeing how few people get involved when someone is in trouble. Nice to know there are still some good samaritans out there.

Most people are good but I'm so glad that I don't have to deal with "transients" (aka street bums) anymore.
