First Snow

It may be March, but we had our first snow of the season at our house this morning. The forecast was for possible snow at 500' or above. It was wrong; we are at about 100' above sea level. I took the dog out with me when I took some pics, but he hurried back inside.

It isn't much and it is already melting, but it is still snow and I love seeing it!

Wow, your first snow this year? Really? I figured you'd get a bunch. Guess I don't know much about Oregon ;)

first snow?? that is just not fair.....we've been snowed in at least 3 times this year.....15 inches or more each time....we are suppose to be starting to get warmer weather but the snow keeps coming

Yuck. If I ever see another snowflake, it will be too soon. I hate snow. I hate cold weather. And the person who invented ice skates was a sadist.

I'm sitting here looking out the window at about 1 foot of snow that has fallen since yesterday. Our snow from last week was almost all melted away and now this! I wish you guys would quit sending it down here...beautiful as it is.

Did you make a snowman?

You left my post not too long ago? Did you notice the pic of the snowman carrying the "I'll be dead soon" sign? That's what would happen if we ever got snow, which we don't. At least not in the last 12 years. I am so jealous! :)

I'm like Gayle! I love snow, but we hardly ever get it. You're so lucky! :)
